If you are going cougar hunting, you need to know the rules of the road. As you know, cougars, also known as mountain lions are acute predators. Meaning, preying on other animals and people is what they do naturally. If you are not on your Ps and Qs you could easily end up being a victim of a mountain lion attack. And remember, this could happen whether you are hunting mountain lions are not. If you are in the backcountry, as far as the mountain lion is concerned, you are fair game. There were recently a number of mountain lion sightings in the Colorado Springs area as well as some attacks.
