I am in the camp that thinks once CP signs, a package of Bled and/or Caron/Hill?s expiring should be traded for a young SG/SF to be a long term 3rd option in the starting 5.
But who is this mystery 3rd option wing player? Preferably someone who can shoot from distance and defend.
Divine Beast asked me in another thread. I have no idea who will suddenly become available by next summer, but who knows- maybe Danny Granger? Not sure we can absorb his contract, but if the Pacers were enticed by Bled/Caron/draft pick for Granger, thats a nice big 3 the Clippers would have (with Crawford off the bench). Or maybe some rookie/sophmore wing shows promise this year but the team they are on needs a young PG like Bledsoe more. . .
Like Orlando Johnson on the Pacers, for example. Just speculating here.
Or maybe some team just wants to blow it up and Caron?s expiring comes in handy, with us keeping Bled.
There will be options out there.
